Answer. The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) released the online application for the Assistant Section Officer (ASO) Mains 2026 on January 12, 2026. Only candidates who qualified for the Preliminary Exam (Advt. No. 37/2025) are eligible to apply for this stage.

1. Visit the Official Portal: Go to the BPSC Online Application System.
2. Login: Enter your existing Registration Number/Roll Number from the Prelims, Date of Birth, and Password/OTP on the candidate dashboard.
3. Fill the Form: Select the active ASO Mains (Advt. No. 37/2025) application link. Complete the descriptive form with required academic and personal details.
4. Upload Documents: Upload clear scanned copies of necessary documents, such as your photograph, signature (in Hindi and English), and category certificates if applicable.
5. Pay Application Fee: Complete the payment online via Credit Card, Debit Card, or Net Banking.
   • General/OBC/EWS: ₹600.
   • SC/ST/Bihar Resident Females: ₹150.
   • PH Candidates (40%+ disability): ₹150.
6. Submit and Print: Preview all details carefully before final submission. Download and print the confirmation page for your records.
