Application Process: Step-by-Step

The application is a two-part online process. Follow these steps to apply: 

1. One-Time Registration (OTR):
   • Visit the UPSC OTR Portal.
   • If you haven't registered before, click "New Registration" to provide basic details (name, email, mobile) and generate a Universal Registration Number (URN).
2. Login & Fill Application:
   • Log in using your OTR ID (Email/Mobile/URN) and password/OTP.
   • Find the link for "Central Armed Police Forces (ACs) Examination 2026" under the "Latest Notifications" tab.
3. Part-I Registration:
   • Enter personal, educational, and contact details.
   • Select your preferred examination centre (allotted on a "first-apply-first-allot" basis).
4. Fee Payment:
   • Pay the application fee of ₹200 via Net Banking, Debit/Credit Card, or UPI.
   • Exemptions: Female candidates and those belonging to SC/ST categories are exempt from the fee.
5. Part-II Registration (Document Upload):
   • Photograph: Scanned image (20–300 KB) in JPG format.
   • Signature: Scanned signature (20–300 KB).
   • Live Photo: You must capture a live photograph as per the new UPSC instructions.
   • Photo ID: Upload a PDF of a valid ID (Aadhaar, PAN, Voter ID, etc.).
6. Final Submission:
   • Review all details, submit the form, and download the confirmation page for your records.
